The Truth About Work At Home Data Entry Jobs

By valeri On June 5, 2010 Under Work From Home

To Many people get taken in by hearing about these “data entry” jobs on the internet, thinking about the many thousands of pounds they are going to earn each month and how they are going to retire overnight and drive a Ferrari next week.

Sound all to good to be true? Well that’s because it is, I’m sure you’ve probably bought enough of the guides by now to come to this conclusion yourself. If not I suggest very strongly you stop buying them now. Just ask yourself this.

Since when did you ever have to pay to get a job?

Surely that’s common sense enough already to stop looking for them. Mind you, out there among all the crap there is some hope, but these are hardly glamorous alternatives to whatever you do as a job at the moment. They are really badly paid and the amount of writing you have to do is astronomical.

They usually require a certain level of knowledge of a subject aswell, those very few real data entry jobs out there are usually medically related or of that calibre. So ask yourself, is it really worth your precious time and energy?

If any of the data entry  courses you bought require you to go round classified ads sites placing ads with affiliate links, the good news is. That’s not a total waste of your money, because it works. But that knowledge is already freely available out there on the web. If this has sparked your curiosity at all it’s worth doing a quick whip around of google and doing a bit of reading.

Theres some great free info out there related to this subject, but again don’t go and buy anything on it. The biggest reason why people fail in this particular endeavour is due to the sheer tediousness of going round the web posting these classifieds everywhere. It may be simple and effective but its very fussy and irritating at the same time.

Your time is better invested doing something such as article writing, squidoo lens generation, or hub pages. It’s more interesting, incredibly social and theres a great community surrounding these sites. Plus google loves them so stuff you write about nearly always ends up on the first page of google, since google recognises it’s significance.
