Mentors are great because they can save you a lot of time and error. Not all business opportunities have a mentors program where you can be mentored and given a proven pattern to follow. Most mentors learned the things they know through trial and error, which is a good thing. Because they have failed time and time again, they know which road to lead you and which ones to avoid. Networking online wasn’t as easy then as it is now. Ask any of them. The only good thing back then is the competition wasn’t nearly as bad as it is now.

This is why a mentor with experience can be the best thing you can have these days. Only watch out because not all who claim to be a mentor is. The problem is, in Internet marketing, the thing you want to do is establish yourself as a leader. All of that is find but remember that all leaders are not qualified to be a mentor. Some leaders are very hard to talk to because most of their mind is geared toward money. However, there’s nothing wrong with thinking about money sometimes, but you need to know how to teach, talk, and explain yourself to your followers, and this is one of the true aspects of a mentor.

Remain Committed   

Just as deciding which cereal box to buy, we now live in a microwave society. We want it all right now and not a moment later. Have you ever found yourself standing in front of your microwave oven impatiently waiting for your meal? I’m sure that most of us have done this at one time or another. Because we are so impatient sometime, this attitude shows up in our home businesses. As soon as we spend a couple of months not seeing much profit, we’re ready to throw in the towel and find another home business opportunity.
